Manage Inventory Items

Overview
Admins can update inventory parts at any time. Changes made to parts will take immediate effect. In this article, we’ll go over everything you need to know to manage inventory items.
Locate Inventory Parts
Click Parts Inventory in the left menu.

A table with all active parts will be displayed.

You can search and filter inventory items. For more information on the search and filter functions, see the article Searching and Filtering.
Edit a Part
Once you’ve found the desired item, click to view its profile. The Edit part page will open.
To update part information, click the Details tab. You can update any of the desired fields. For a breakdown of the field options, see the article Create an Inventory Item.

To manage the files associated with a part, click the Files tab.

You can upload a new file with the bottom upload field. Click the field to select a file or drag and drop the desired file in the field.

You can download a file by clicking the cloud icon in the bottom right of an image.

To remove an image, first click to open it. In the top right click the trashcan icon.

Click Save to keep your changes.

Update Part Inventory
You can manually adjust the inventory level of your parts as an admin. You can also set a price per unit for the items added.
To get started, locate the desired inventory part and open its profile. Click Restock part in the top right.

The Restock part window will open. Use the Quantity field to adjust the inventory level. To add items to the inventory, enter the number received.

Note: You cannot manually remove inventory, inventory items will automatically be subtracted when used on tickets.
Use the Price per unit field to set the cost price of the item.

When you’re done, click Submit restock to update inventory levels.
Archive a Part
Warning: When you archive a part, it will no longer appear as an option on tickets. Use caution before archiving.
There are two ways to archive a part. The first is to click the three dots in the top right and select Archive part.

The other way to archive a part is to remove the check from the Active checkbox and click Save to update.

Unarchive a Part
To view archived parts, click Parts Inventory in the left menu.

Click the three dots in the top right and select Show archived. All archived parts will be displayed. Locate the desired part and click to open the profile.

There are two ways to unarchive a part. You can click the three dots in the top right and select Unarchive part.

You can also check the Active checkbox and click Save to unarchive the part.
